2020年9月16日，阿联酋迪拜 – 2002年9月15日，阿联酋航空SkyCargo货运部的一架全货机航班降落在上海，掀开了阿联酋航空在中国内地市场发展的崭新一页。这架航班不仅是SkyCargo货运部在中国内地运营的首个定期货运航班，更标志着阿联酋航空已正式进入中国内地市场。

2020年9月2日，阿联酋迪拜 - 阿联酋航空和flydubai宣布，搭乘两家航空公司的乘客将重新享受到在迪拜的安全无缝转机体验，以及飞往全球丰富目的地的更多选择。
2020年9月1日，阿联酋迪拜 - 阿联酋航空宣布，将自9月4日起恢复迪拜往返卢萨卡的客运服务，每周两班。由此，阿联酋航空全球航线网络将恢复至79个目的地城市。 迪拜至卢萨卡航班的重启将为身在赞比亚的阿联酋航空乘客搭建飞往迪拜的空中桥梁，以及提供通过阿联酋航空迪拜枢纽，前往欧洲、中东、亚太地区和美洲的转乘便利。即将复航的卢萨卡将成为阿联酋航空在非洲恢复运营的第9个目的地城市。
2020年8月27日，阿联酋迪拜 - 阿联酋航空宣布，将自9月3日起恢复迪拜往返几内亚科纳克里和塞内加尔达喀尔的客运服务，其逐步恢复的非洲航线网络将增至8个城市。从迪拜出发经停科纳克里飞往达喀尔的阿联酋航空航班，每周运营两班，采用波音777-300ER客机执飞*。
Dubai, UAE: 6 August 2020 – Emirates has announced it will resume passenger services to Kuwait City (5 August) and Lisbon (16 August). This will take Emirates’ passenger network to 70 destinations in August, over 50% of its pre-pandemic destination network, as the airline gradually resumes operations with the safety of its customers, crew and communities as its top priority.

2020年7月24日，阿联酋迪拜 – 为让乘客安心旅行，阿联酋航空在业内首推为乘客负担COVID-19相关费用的新政。若乘客远离家乡却不幸在旅行期间确诊COVID-19，阿联酋航空将承担最高15万欧元的医疗费和14天内每天100欧元的隔离费用。
